Vintage crystal and brass chandelier, Empire style, Italy 1950s–1960s

Vintage chandelier in cut crystal with a brass structure, decorated with rows of octagons and hanging crystal drops, made in Italy in the 1950s–1960s.
The ornamental motifs evoke the neoclassical style typical of Empire-style chandeliers, popular in Europe between the 19th and 20th centuries and still highly sought after today. 

The structure consists of octagonal crystal chains that converge in the central crown, from which cut crystal pendants descend arranged on multiple levels.

The chandelier has been fully restored and cleaned of oxidation.
All crystals have been cleaned and re-sewn.
The chandelier is illuminated by 9 lights with E14 fittings (6 external and 3 internal), the electrical system has been completely redone and is equipped with a ground wire.

Compatible with international electrical systems.
With adapters, it is possible to use bulbs with different fittings; E14 bulbs at 110 volts for the American market are easily available online as well.
