
Fan-shaped vase in Venetian crystal glass with a particular decorative effect ("Bullicante" or "Ballottòn", Venetian slang) used by Murano glassmakers, which consists of small air bubbles that are immersed in the glass. This vase is enriched by lateral applications consisting of shaped glass cords with a characteristic wavy pattern. In Venetian jargon they are called "morise". The vase, made in the Muranesi workshops of Barovier & Toso in the 1930s, is in excellent condition without cracks or breaks, has small particles of ash immersed in the glass, due to the processing and precisely formed during the cooking phase, which are to be considered added value of the craftsmanship.
