Large oval ceiling light in Empire style with 8 lights - Vintage 1940s

Large oval ceiling light in Empire style, made in Italy around the 1940s, with a structure in chased brass and rich decoration in glass and faceted crystal. From the wide brass band hang chains of octagons and diamonds of glass and crystal that define the classic hot air balloon shape, capable of capturing and refracting light to create refined luminous reflections.

The contained height makes this ceiling light particularly suitable for rooms with low ceilings, ensuring a significant visual presence without being bulky. Inside, in the central part, there is a rack screw that, once the chandelier is fixed to the ceiling, allows, by simply turning it, to raise the ceiling light until it is close to the ceiling.

The chandelier has been completely restored: the metal parts have been cleaned while preserving the original patina, all the crystals have been disassembled, cleaned, and reattached, and the electrical system has been replaced and equipped with a ground wire.

It is illuminated by 8 lights with E27 lamp holders (European standard), also compatible with E26 American bulbs.
