Italian vintage Murano glass chandelier, made in the 1960s. An icon of Italian Mid-Century Modern design, it belongs to the extraordinary creative period that saw the creation of the celebrated Tronchi series chandeliers, designed by Toni Zuccheri for Venini. A luminous work born from the craftsmanship of Murano’s master glassmakers.

The cylindrical structure is arranged over two levels and covered with 26 vertical transparent glass tubes, featuring raised geometric detailing. The lower section is finished with a transparent glass bowl, also decorated with a raised geometric pattern, which conceals the bulbs and diffuses the light harmoniously.

Condition

The chandelier is in excellent condition, with all glass tubes intact. Several replacement glass tubes will be provided with the purchase. The metal structure retains minor signs of age, consistent with its history.

Electrical System

The electrical system has been completely rewired and features nine light points and a ground wire. The lamp holders are compatible with E27 bulbs in Europe and E26 bulbs in the United States. When dimmable bulbs are used, the chandelier can also be connected to a system equipped with a dimmer.
