Murano chandelier with central blown glass Balloton cup - Vintage 1940s

Chandelier in glass from Murano 1940s, attributable to the Venetian manufacture Barovier & Toso.
The central structure features a brass ring from which a transparent Torchon glass arch develops, framing, in the center, a bowl in glass in the shape of a handkerchief.
The bowl has a particular Balloton glass processing (Venetian jargon), featuring a raised net pattern. The whole is enhanced by glass knobs.

Illuminated by a central light. The electrical system has been replaced and equipped with a ground wire, with an E27 lamp holder compatible with E26 bulbs for the US market.
The brass parts have been cleaned of oxidation and polished, maintaining the original patina of time.

Dimensions: Height 105 cm (41.3 inches), Width 45 cm (17.7 inches), Depth 25 cm (9.8 inches).
Upon request, it is possible to shorten the height of the chandelier.
