Antique chandelier in Empire style, made of bronze and cut crystal, France, early decades of the ’900. The structure, cone-shaped inspired by neoclassicism of the early nineteenth century, is decorated with a cascade of hanging prisms.
The upper band is enriched with cut glass medallions and garlands in bronze, a clear reference to the triumphant Roman symbolism typical of the Empire style.
At the top, the ornamental details with acanthus leaves and scrolls complete the frame, giving it a scenic and decorative appearance.
Internally illuminated by four E27 lights, compatible with American E26 bulbs. The chandelier has been completely restored and equipped with a new electrical system with a ground wire.
