Vintage chandelier in Muranoglass, made in the 1930s in the historic furnaces of Ercole Barovier, an original example from the Art Déco period.
The structure consists of three curved arms in blown glasstransparent, crafted using the helical rib technique (known in Venetian jargon as “torchon”), mounted on a brass base. The cups, made with the traditional bullicante glass technique, feature small air bubbles embedded in the glass, created during the firing phase thanks to the skill of the Muranese glass masters. This decorative effect, typical of Murano's artistic production, enhances the transparency and depth of the material.
Decorating the cups are morise on the sides, adding a distinctive touch to the design. The central sphere and the upper cup, both in bullicante glass, also feature the same motifs.
The chandelier has been completely restored and equipped with a new electrical system, with three E27 lamp holders (European standard), compatible with E26 bulbs (USA standard).
