Vase in the shape of a handkerchief made of Venetian crystal glass with a particular decorative effect (“Bullicante” Venetian jargon) used by Murano glassmakers, which consists of small air bubbles that are immersed in the glass. This vase is enriched with side applications consisting of shaped glass cords with a characteristic wavy pattern. In Venetian jargon, they are called “morise”. The vase, made in the Murano workshops of Barovier & Toso around the 1930s, is in excellent condition without cracks or breaks, has small particles of ash immersed in the glass, due to the processing and specifically formed during the firing phase, which are to be considered an added value of the artisanal processing.
