Vintage Empire-style chandelier in the shape of a hot air balloon, made in Italy in the 1940s.
The structure is made of brass and consists of numerous cut glass chains, arranged progressively to form the typical hot air balloon structure. The crystals of the chains gradually increase in size until they connect to the central crown.
In the central part, there are eight arms that support wooden candles. Each arm is decorated with prism-shaped crystal pendants, typical elements of Empire and neoclassical chandeliers produced in Italy during the 20th century.

The chandelier has been restored, all the crystals have been cleaned and reattached.
The electrical system is new and is equipped with a ground wire.
It is illuminated by 8 lights with E14 base and is compatible with international electrical systems.
With simple adapters, it is possible to use bulbs with different bases.
E14 compatible bulbs for 110 Volt current for the American market are easily available online as well.
