Antique Murano Chandelier Ca' Rezzonico in Gondola Style, 10 lights - Early 1900s Period

Large chandelier Ca' Rezzonico in the shape of a Gondola made of blown Murano glass, illuminated by 10 lights. Antique chandelier with a rich pictorial effect and 18th-century Venetian taste, has the classic shape of a gondola; at the ends, it features two long twisted arms that support 2 lanterns made of blown glass. The chandelier is made of transparent glass, alternated with colored components in polychrome hues, the flowers of various colors have been masterfully crafted in glass paste. From the leaves and arms hang pendants of various shapes depicting baskets of flowers and fruit that further embellish the figure, making this luxurious chandelier an object of rare beauty capable of enriching any environment. When the chandelier is turned on, it gives the impression of an illuminated gondola navigating the canals of Venice. The chandelier was made in the ancient furnaces of Murano in the early 1900s and comes from an ancient Venetian palace. The restoration was quite laborious, all components were disassembled, the metal structure rusted by time and climatic factors was carefully brushed and gilded, the electrical system was redone, all the fittings were cleaned and reassembled one by one, bringing the candelabrum back to its ancient splendor. The chandelier is in perfect condition, without cracks, ready to be installed.
