Antique Montgolfière chandelier dating from between 1890 and 1910, during the Belle Époque

The chandelier is made of gilded bronze, chased with leaf, flower, and festoon decorations.

The central section consists of numerous chains of transparent faceted crystals, giving it its characteristic hot-air balloon shape.

The arms arranged around the crown end in flower-shaped frosted glass shades.

The design reflects the French taste of the period: the Rococo decorations of the Louis XV style are combined with the sinuous lines and nature-inspired motifs of Art Nouveau.

Complete restoration and new electrical system

The chandelier has been completely restored. The electrical system is new, equipped with grounding, and compatible with voltages from 110 to 240 volts, making it suitable for use in the United States as well.

The lamp sockets are E27 and are also compatible with the E26 bulbs used in the United States.
