Elegant pair of Ca' Rezzonico chandeliers in blown glass of Murano , authentic expression of the style Baroque and Venetian Rococo of the 18th century. Works of art born from the mastery of the Murano glassmakers , they stand out for their decorative richness and the harmony of proportions.
Made in the first half of the 20th century, they feature a wide cage-like structure, composed of elements in transparent blown glass with colored inserts in pink and light blue, enriched with multicolored leaves and flowers. The 9 arms open harmoniously and support candle holder cups.
The name “Ca' Rezzonico” is inspired by the Venetian palace of the same name that belonged to the ancient Rezzonico family. Even today, in the Ca' Rezzonico Museum in Venice, one can admire a monumental specimen, similar but larger in size, that testifies to the extraordinary importance of this model.
Restored with care and recommendations to their former glory thanks to meticulous restoration work: they have been completely disassembled, the rusted arms have been treated and silvered, while the electrical system has been replaced.
