Pair of Wall Sconces with Mirror, 3 Lights, Louis XV Style

Pair of Appliques (Wall Lamps) in Louis XV style with a central mirror, made with fine castings in gilded brass and illuminated by 3 E14 candles. The mirror positioned behind the bulbs enhances and diffuses the light, while a rich chiseling at the base of the arms further embellishes the figure. Crystal drops descend from the curls and arms, giving brightness and elegance to the appliques. The lamps were produced in Italy around the 1930s.
