Three large antique Murano chandeliers Ca 'Rezzonico model in blown glass, dating back to the early 1900s, handcrafted by master glassmakers and completely restored. I recovered them in a historic wedding dress studio in the center of the city of Taranto, and their restoration was rather laborious: they were completely dismantled, the metal of the structure now rusted by time and climatic factors was carefully brushed and then brushed silver. The period to which the chandeliers date can also be seen from the characteristics of the glass: in transparency and against the light you can see very small points, due to the fact that in the past the glass processing ovens were not able to keep constant the temperature and consequently this caused the formation of very small, almost imperceptible bubbles that characterize ancient glass, very transparent.
Another feature of those periods was the encapsulation of the various components of the chandeliers, for which iron capsules were used, while in more recent times (from the 1930s to today) aluminum capsules were used.
In the photo n. 10 you can see the chandeliers during the restoration phase.
Diameter 38in (95cm), Height 41in (105cm), 9 lights also work with LED bulbs.
THE PRICE INDICATED IS REFERRED TO A CHANDELIER, but they can also be sold in batches.
The electrical system has been redone again, all the glass has been cleaned and reassembled, restoring the candlesticks to their former glory (they are in perfect condition, without cracks). I still have a fourth chandelier to restore, on request I can finish the restoration.
